
The hold-toggle Select, Copy, and Erase have been readded from Super Mario Maker.
In additon to Sound Effects, Soundfrog also has access to the Jukebox, which allows the player to change the music of a course or section. From here, the player can select one of the 12 most recently-used items in each category, or expand it to see all items in said category. Clicking the magnifying glass icon now opens a menu similar to the one used in the original Super Mario Maker, featuring rows for each type of course element. The Redocat has been added, allowing the player to redo moves that were undone by the Undodog. The Water Level icon is now always present, and it can be used to either enable or disable liquids. The scroll bar from Super Mario Maker has been readded, as well as a second one for the course's vertical position. The recently-used items toolbar now has 14 slots, like Mario Maker's E3 demo. Super Mario World's new music tracks have been reworked to match Super Mario World's soundfont. Night variations of courses no longer have to play their music box tracks. Several Course Themes and their music tracks have been shuffled around. The Super Bell, Boomerang Flower, Super Hammer, and wearables are no longer exclusive to Super Mario 3D World. The Propeller Mushroom is no longer exclusive to the New Super Mario Bros. The Cape Feather is no longer exclusive to the Super Mario World style. The Super Leaf and Frog Suit are no longer exclusive to the Super Mario Bros. The Weird Mushroom, Big Mushroom, SMB2 Mushroom, and Superball Flower are no longer exclusive to the Super Mario Bros. The Weird Mushroom and Mystery Mushroom have returned. The Master Sword has been replaced with the Mystery Flower. Enemies can now be stacked in Super Mario 3D World. As well, courses can be tagged to not appear in either Multiplayer Versus/Ranked, Multiplayer Co-Op, or Super Mario Challenge. Warp Pipes can now both be in the same main area. Courses can now be have up to three sub-areas in addition to the main area.
Courses can now have a set minimum and maximum number of players. Liquid levels can be placed in any Course theme. Changing to an Extra Game Style no longer erases the entire course. Courses can now extend both vertically and horizontally. Daily animations and title screen interactivity have been re-added. Wario, Waluigi, Peach, and Daisy are now playable characters.
